Your last comment made me want to say something, so badly. . .

Honestly, rock is the music of the gods, followed only by country.
As for rock, I include classic rock, metal of all kinds, screamo, and hard 80s rock. Alternative is not rock, unless there are heavy guitar riffs and screaming within.

Yeah i have to say though, rock is awesome!  Smiley i mean i like alot of it, from some of the classic stuff to the 80s stuff to the modern day stuff. im just not all that much for the screamo stuff and some of the metal. if there is any screamin in any of the songs i listen to, usually it doesnt last for that long either.....maybe its just too hard for me.  Sad

but in a nutshell, most all rock music rocks!   Wink

too be honest, im not much for country. just not me.......

Simply put, you don't have to really be listening to the words to hear them. Often times, the words are in the forefront of the music. Easy to sing along with, if you like.

What you probably refer to is heavy thrash metal, where you can't really understand what they say. But, if you listen hard enough, you can hear them screaming in the background.

i like those types of places. if you dont know song names and you just know lyrics it makes it SOOOOOOOO much easier to find out wat the songs called. its sooooo awesome.
